Managing and organizing oneself effectively is the key to become successful today. However this does not happen overnight and this has to inculcate from a very young age. It is important that you teach your child to be organized and neat from a young age as this would do wonders to his personality and help in a lot in the long run.
Teaching your child to manage his/her room is great ways to teach your child become a good manager. A neat room, with stuff in place plays an important in helping a child think positively and induce creativity. A messy room often induces rage, tension and stress among the occupants of the room.

Here some tips to help your child maintain a clean room:

1)The use of visual aids: For toys use plastic bag bins, because they can be seen through. Also if your kids has a variety of toys label each bag with different sets, for eg if he has a variety of cars then you can have a plastic bag that has the label cars on it. This task will help your child to think clearly and logically. The same idea can be done with clothes and shoes, shirts, pants can be neatly separated. If this is done he can get ready for school without any stress.

2)Child’s Closet – You have to be harsh here because children always do not maintain their closet neatly. Initially you can help him/her, but later you have to see to that he maintains a clean closet. This is important because when he/she turns into an adult he/she is able to maintain important documents with care. Maintain his closet will inculcate this habit in him.

3)Kids Area Rug – A lot of child psychologist’s advice that every child’s room should have kid’s area rugs. This makes the room very comfortable. Children prefer to lie on the floor and paint. A rug will give the child freedom to lie on the floor and do this task without any inhibitions. The rug may get stained, however if you use pick your child to paint carefully so that it doesn’t fall on the carpet, you would add stress on your kid and restrain his creativity. You can give the rug for dry clean to remove the smudges. You can go for a 9 x 12 area rug so that it covers the room completely

You have to start teaching your child to manage his room from a very early age. This will help him also take the correct decision in life due to clear thinking. Starting at an early age will make the process easier than talking about it in the later stage of his life as he would feel that.
